Day 1
Delhi: Arrive Delhi. You will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel. Indias capital & a major gateway to the country, Delhi is contemporary and a bustling metropolis which successfully combines in its fold the ancient and the modern. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 2
Haridwar: Drive to Haridwar (200kms / 5 hrs approx) the Gateway to the Gods. Arrive Haridwar and check in to your hotel. Proceed for a half-day tour of Haridwar. Visit the Mansadevi Temple with cable car ride, offering a panoramic view of Haridwar, the Ganges, and the countryside. Drive past the other bathing Ghats at the Ganga River, where pilgrims come to take a dip, and wash away their sins. In the evening, visit Har-Ki-Pauri, and witness the golden reflection of diyas in the river during the enchantingly beautiful Ganga aarti ceremony. Overnight in Haridwar.
Day 3
Delhi: Drive to Rishikesh (30 kms / 01 hrs approx.). One of the holiest cities in India, Rishikesh is not just known for its religious connection, but also for its stunning landscape. Visit the Lakshman Jhula, a suspended bridge across the Ganga. Legend has it that Lakshman crossed a bridge made of jute ropes here. The view from the bridge is panoramic… mountains, the river, the temples and the ashrams. Later, visit Muni-ki-Reti…literally, the sands of the sages. The sandy banks of the Ganga have been used by the sages for meditation for years, thus giving the area its name. It is famous for the many ashrams that dot the area. Later, drive to Delhi (220 kms / 6 hr approx). Arrive Delhi and check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 4
Agra: Drive to Agra (210 kms / 4 hrs approx). Arrive Agra and check in to your hotel. Proceed for a half-day tour of Agra. Visit the magnificent Red Fort, and the Taj Mahal … a mausoleum built as a symbol Emperor Shah Jehan’s devotion to his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. Overnight in Agra.
Day 5
Jaipur : Drive to Jaipur (232 kms / 5 hrs approx), enroute visiting Fatehpur Skirl, which was built by the Emperor Akbar and is home to many historical buildings. Arrive Jaipur and check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 6
Jaipur: Proceed for a full-day tour of Jaipur. Visit the Amber Fort… ride up to it on elephant back. Later, stop to photograph the beautiful Hawa Mahal, also known as the “Palace of the Winds.” Post lunch, visit the City Palace. Later, visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory, and the Albert Hall. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 7
Delhi: Drive to Delhi (250 kms / 5 hrs approx). Arrive Delhi and check in to your hotel. Proceed for a half-day tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, Enjoy rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk, drive past Red Fort, President House, India Gate and several other government buildings. Visit Rajghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, and Humayun’s Tomb. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 8
Onwards: Proceed to the airport to board the flight for your onward destination.
