Day 1

Nainital: Drive from Delhi to Nainital (270 kms / 6 hrs approx). Arrive Nainital and check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight in Nainital.

Day 2

Nainital: Proceed for full-day tour of Nainital. Visit the Naina Devi Temple on the shore of the lake-one of the fifty-one Shakti Peeths in India. Naina Devi Temple is one of the highly venerated Shakti Temples in India. According to Hindu mythology, Sati, consort of Lord Shiva, killed herself by jumping in the sacrificial fire. Shiva started roaming the entire universe with the body of Sati in his arms. Lord Vishnu dismembered the dead body of Sati to calm down the anger of Shiva. Various body parts of Sati fell at fifty-one different places in India that later became sacred as Shakti Peeths. Stroll around Naini lake, and evening visit the Mall road. Overnight in Nainital.

Day 3

Nainital: Day at leisure in Nainital. Overnight in Nainital.

Day 4

Nainital: Drive to Kausani (119 kms / 3 hrs approx). The major attraction at Kausani is that it offers wondrous vistas of the Kumaon Himalayas. In the morning, visit the Anashakti Ashram, a landmark of Kausani. The Ashram is renowned for its association with Mahatma Gandhi, who once stayed there. In this time he wrote a book called Anasakti Yoga. This book is available at the ashram library, which also houses a rich collection of other books. Visit the Rudradhari Falls and Caves, situated among terraced green paddy fields, and dense, fragrant pine forests. These magnificent waterfalls are a natural attraction here, and many ancient caves abound nearby. Puranic stories associate this place with Lord Shiv (Rudra) and Lord Vishnu (Hari). The Rudradhari Temple is a refitted natural cave in a magical setting, with dense oak forests stretching above. Overnight in Nainital.

Day 5

Corbett: Drive to Corbett (120 kms / 2.5 hrs approx). Arrive Corbett and check in to your hotel. Situated in the picturesque Kumaon hills in Nainital district, Corbett National Park has a population of 582 species of birds, 26 species of reptiles, 7 species of amphibians and 50 species of mammals. It is named after the famous hunter and naturalist, Jim Corbett, who popularized this land and its animals in his book "The Man-Eaters of Kumaon". Overnight in Corbett.

Day 6

Corbett: Today, take a morning jeep safari in the park. Corbett is particularly famed for its tiger population. Overnight in Corbett.

Day 7

Mussoorie: Drive to Mussoorie (290 kms / 7.5 hrs approx). Arrive Mussoorie and check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight in Mussoorie.

Day 8

Mussoorie: Proceed for a full-day tour of Mussoorie. Visit the famous Mall Road… the Mall is Mussoorie ‘s main artery. Running through Kulri Bazaar, on towards Library Chowk, the Mall offers an amazing variety of pastimes. Later, take the cable car that starts from the Mall and goes up to Gun Hill, enjoying the mesmeric views of the Himalayan peaks and a birds eye view of Mussoorie and its environs. Afterwards, visit Kempty falls, located 15 kms from Mussoorie. The falls offer a breathtaking view of the water cascading down forty feet, splitting into five streams on the way. Overnight in Mussoorie.

Day 9

Onwards: Today, proceed to New Delhi.
