Day 1
Delhi:.Delhi: Arrive Delhi. You will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel. Indias capital & a major gateway to the country, Delhi is contemporary and a bustling metropolis which successfully combines in its fold the ancient and the modern. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 2
Nawalgarh: Proceed to visit Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, drive past Red Fort, President House, India Gate and several other government buildings. Visit Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Later, drive to Nawalgarh (332kms/6hrs). Arrive and check in to your hotel. Nawalgarh is renowned all over the world for its exquisitely painted havelis that are beautifully designed and carved… this village is considered an open-air art gallery!. Overnight in Nawalgarh.
Day 3
Gajner:Proceed to visit the the painted Havelis of Nawalgarh village. Marvellous murals have been painted the walls and further decorated with pieces of mirror, gold and silver leaves. Enjoy lunch in Bikaner at the erstwhile Maharajas hunting lodge, now a hotel. Drive to Gajner (262kms/5hrs). En route, visit Fort Junagarh. This unassailable fortress was built in 1593. Also, visit Ganga Jubli museum that contains archaeological exhibits as well as royal memorabilia. Arrive and check in to your hotel. Gajner, a historical town famous for its beautiful fort. Overnight in Gajner.
Day 4
Jaisalmer: Drive to Jaisalmer (300kms/5hrs). Jaisalmer, which lies in the heart of the Thar Desert and is rich with color and tradition. Arrive Jaisalmer and check in to your hotel. Later, visit the Vyas Chhatri; this is the cenotaph of Sage Vyas, the author of the Mahabharata. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 5
Jaisalmer: Proceed to visit the Jaisalmer fort the second oldest in Rajasthan. Notable among the havelis are Salim Singh ki Haveli, built around 300 years ago, and Patwon-ki-Haveli - the grandest mansion in Jaisalmer. Late afternoon, drive to Sam dunes (40 minutes drive approx). The village of Sam is Jaisalmers nearest real Sahara-like desert and is one of the best places to see the sunrise and sunset amidst the picturesque sand dunes. Enjoy a Camel safari on the dunes. Overnight in Jaislamer.
Day 6
Manwar: Drive to Manwar Village (170kms / 3hrs). Arrive and check in to Manwar Camps. In the evening, take a private jeep safari to explore a Bishnoi village. The Bishnois are an eco friendly community of Rajasthan, who are famous for their rich cultural Rajasthani life and their true love for nature and animals. Overnight in Manwar.
Day 7
Jodhpur: Drive to Jodhpur (111 Kms / 2 Hrs 30). Arrive Jodhpur and check in to your hotel. Later, visit the Mehrangarh Fort. This spectacular fort made from red sandstone stands on a perpendicular cliff above the skyline of Jodhpur. Also visit Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph built to commemorate Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Overnight in Jodhpur.
Day 8
Udaipur: Drive to Udaipur (260kms/6hrs). This romantic city is more than just an oasis with its scenic lakes, tasteful palaces and architectural heritage. En- route, visit the Ranakpur Jain Temples, built during the reign of the liberal and gifted monarch Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. Arrive Udaipur and check in to your hotel. Later, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, set against the breathtaking backdrop of lush hills. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 9
Udaipur: Proceed to a sightseeing tour of Udaipur. One of the finest architectural piece, the palace gently rests on the banks of Lake Pichola. Later, visit Sahelion ki Bari .A spot once reserved for the royal ladies who strolled here, this well-planned garden is blessed with extensive and shady lawns on the banks of the Fateh Sagar Lake. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 10
Jojawar: Drive to Jojawar (160kms/4hrs). Set amidst the Aravalli hills, this little garrison fort was once a major principality of the Royal house of Marwar. Arrive Jojawar and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Jojawar.
Day 11
Jaipur: Drive to Jaipur (290kms/6hrs) also known as the ‘Pink City’. The city of Jaipur is capital to the state of Rajasthan, famous for its colorful culture, forts, palaces, and lakes. Arrive Jaipur and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 12
Jaipur: Proceed for a full-day tour of Jaipur. Visit the Amber Fort… ride up to it on elephant back. Later, stop to photograph the beautiful Hawa Mahal, also known as the “Palace of the Winds.” Post lunch, visit the City Palace. Later, visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory, and Albert Hall. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 13
Agra: Agra: Drive to Agra (240 kms/ 5 hrs). The city is home to the Taj Mahal and other fine examples of Mughal architecture. Enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, which was built by the Emperor Akbar and is home to many historical buildings. Arrive Agra and check in to your hotel. Later visit Itimad Ud Daulah often described as jewel box, sometimes called the Baby Taj, the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah is often regarded as an early draft of the Taj Mahal. Overnight in Agra.
Day 14
Delhi/Onwards: Proceed to the Taj Mahal at sunrise, a mausoleum built as a symbol Emperor Shah Jahan’s devotion to his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal later, visit Agra Fort. Later proceed to Delhi . On arrival, you will have the opportunity to wash and change before proceeding to the airport for your onward destination.
