Day 1
Delhi:. Arrive Delhi. You will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel. Indias capital & a major gateway to the country, Delhi is contemporary and a bustling metropolis which successfully combines in its fold the ancient and the modern. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 2
Mandawa: Proceed to visit Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, drive past Red Fort, President House, India Gate and several other government buildings. Visit Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Later, drive to Mandawa (290kms/6hrs) which was once inhabited by rich merchant families. Overnight In Mandawa.
Day 3
Gajner:Proceed to visit the painted Havelis of Mandawa village. Later, drive to Gajner (222kms/5hrs) En route, visit Fort Junagarh. This unassailable fortress was built in 1593. Also, visit Ganga Jubli museum that contains archaeological exhibits as well as royal memorabilia. Arrive and check in to your hotel. Gajner, a historical town famous for its beautiful fort. Overnight in Gajner.
Day 4
Jaisalmer: Drive to Jaisalmer (300kms/5hrs). Jaisalmer, which lies in the heart of the Thar Desert and is rich with color and tradition. Arrive Jaisalmer and check in to your hotel. Later, visit the Vyas Chhatri; this is the cenotaph of Sage Vyas, the author of the Mahabharata. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 5
Jaisalmer: Proceed to visit the Jaisalmer fort the second oldest in Rajasthan. Notable among the havelis are Salim Singh ki Haveli, built around 300 years ago, and Patwon-ki-Haveli - the grandest mansion in Jaisalmer. Late afternoon, drive to Sam dunes (40 minutes drive approx). The village of Sam is Jaisalmers nearest real Sahara-like desert and is one of the best places to see the sunrise and sunset amidst the picturesque sand dunes. Enjoy a Camel safari on the dunes. Overnight in Jaislamer.
Day 6
Rohet: Drive to Rohet (310kms/6hrs). En route in Jodhpur visit the Mehrangarh Fort. This spectacular fort made from red sandstone stands on a perpendicular cliff above the skyline of Jodhpur. Also visit Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph built to commemorate Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Arrive Rohet and check in to your hotel. On the banks of a lake near Rohet village, lies Rohet Garh, an ancestral home built in 1622 AD, that is now a charming heritage hotel. Overnight in Rohet.
Day 7
Udaipur: Proceed to explore a Bishnoi village. The Bishnois are an eco friendly community of Rajasthan, who are famous for their rich cultural Rajasthani life and their true love for nature and animals. Drive to Udaipur (233kms/6hrs). En -route, visit the Ranakpur Jain Temples, built during the reign of the liberal and gifted monarch Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. Arrive Udaipur and check in to your hotel. Day 8
Udaipur: Proceed to a sightseeing tour of Udaipur. One of the finest architectural piece, the palace gently rests on the banks of Lake Pichola. Later, visit Sahelion ki Bari .A spot once reserved for the royal ladies who strolled here, this well-planned garden is blessed with extensive and shady lawns on the banks of the Fateh Sagar Lake. Day 9
Jaipur: Proceed to Udaipur airport to catch your flight to Jaipur. Also known as the ‘Pink City’ is capital to the state of Rajasthan, famous for its colorful culture, forts, palaces, and lakes. Arrive Jaipur and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 10
Jaipur: Proceed for a full-day tour of Jaipur. Visit the Amber Fort… ride up to it on elephant back. Later, stop to photograph the beautiful Hawa Mahal, also known as the “Palace of the Winds.” Post lunch, visit the City Palace. Later, visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory, and Albert Hall. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 11
Agra: Agra: Drive to Agra (240 kms/ 5 hrs). The city is home to the Taj Mahal and other fine examples of Mughal architecture. Enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, which was built by the Emperor Akbar and is home to many historical buildings. Arrive Agra and check in to your hotel. Later visit Itimad Ud Daulah often described as jewel box, sometimes called the Baby Taj, the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah is often regarded as an early draft of the Taj Mahal. Overnight in Agra.
Day 12
Orchha: Proceed to board your train to Gwalior. Arrive and visit the impressive Gwalior Fort, which has been guarding over the city for over 100 years. Later, proceed to Orchha (120kms/4hrs). Arrive Orchha and check in to your hotel. Later, witness the aarti at Raj Rama Temple. Overnight in Orchha.
Day 13
Khajuraho: Proceed to visit the Orchha Fort complex, which houses three palaces. Later, drive to Khajuraho (170kms/5hrs). Arrive Khajuraho and check in to your hotel. Later, visit the Eastern temples, situated close to the village. Afterwards, visit the Western Temples. The Western group of temples is entirely Hindu and contains some of the most erotic sculptures found in a place of worship. Overnight in Kahjuraho.
Day 14
Varanasi: Proceed to board your flight to Varanasi. Varanasi on the banks of the River Ganges is one of the oldest living cities in the world and the holiest for Hindu pilgrims. Arrive Varanasi and check in to your hotel. Later in the evening, enjoy a boat ride on the River Ganges to and witness the people who gather to perform their daily religious rituals on the river bank. Overnight in Varanasi.
Day 15
Delhi/Onwards: Enjoy the sublime experience of an early morning boat ride on the Ganges. Later, proceed to visit Sarnath, famous as the place where the Buddha first preached his message after attaining nirvana. Later, proceed to airport to board your flight to Delhi. On arrival, you will have the opportunity to wash and change before proceeding to the airport for your onward destination.
