Day 1
Arrival in Helsinki
Arrival in Helsinki. Transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day to familiarize yourself with this splendid city. Overnight stay in Helsinki.
Day 2
Helsinki - Overnight ferry to Stockholm
In the morning go on a sightseeing tour of Helsinki (SIC) during which you will see the historical centre and the diplomatic quarters, the Presidential Palace, City Hall, the Parliament Buildings, Finlandia Hall and the Opera House. Stop at Senate Square, the Sibelius Monument and at the Temppeliaukio Church in the rocks. The tour ends in the city centre. In the early afternoon it is time to board a ship for an overnight cruise to Stockholm. Enjoy a Scandinavian buffet dinner on the ship. After dinner you can dance the night away in the nightclub, linger in the various shops, or enjoy the scenery. Accommodation on board in comfortable 2-berth cabins.
Day 3
Stockholm
Enjoy a sumptuous Scandinavian breakfast buffet before arriving in Stockholm, but make sure to be out on deck as the ship sails into the beautiful Stockholm harbour. With its 24 000 islands, the Stockholm archipelago is quite unique. Disembark in Stockholm and go to your hotel to check in.
Later go for a sightseeing tour (SIC). Stockholm is often called the "Beauty on Water" being built on 14 islands. See all of Stockholm by bus and by boat. Clients will enjoy a panoramic bus ride through the city viewing the best known sites and buildings. After one hour and a half, transfer to a boat to sail around the royal park of Djurgården and past the most inner archipelago islands. Overnight stay in Stockholm.
Day 4
Stockholm - Oslo
After breakfast go to the railway station and take a train from Stockholm to Oslo. After arrival at Oslo, go to the hotel and check in. Rest of the day to familiarize yourself with Oslo city. Overnight stay in Oslo.
Day 5
Oslo
After breakfast go on a sightseeing tour of Oslo (SIC). This is an extensive sightseeing tour with many of beautiful and interesting sights: Downtown Oslo, Vigeland Sculpture Park, Holmenkollen and the Viking Ships. From Bygdøy: return to the city centre by boat or bus. (By boat, weather permitting). Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Oslo
Day 6
Oslo - Flåm
After breakfast go on the famous "Norway in a Nutshell" trip. This unique tour takes you through some of the most magnificent scenery in and along the Norwegian Fjords! Your first stop will be in Myrdal where you change to the special Flåm line, a masterpiece of engineering set in wild and wonderful countryside of high mountains and thundering waterfalls. Overnight stay in Flåm.
Day 7
Flåm - Bergen
After breakfast continue on the "Norway in a Nutshell" tour. In Flåm you board a boat that will take you on an about 2 hours tour on the Aurland fjord, an arm of the Sognefjord. This is one of the narrowest fjord inlets in Western Norway, surrounded by mountains up to 1800 m. In Gudvangen you will be picked up by a bus that will take you to Voss where you change to a train that will take you to Bergen. On the way you will drive up the steep and spectacular Stalheimskleivane hairpin bends, from where you have a fantastic view of the Stalheim waterfall. Arrive in Bergen in the early afternoon. Bergen is Norways second largest city. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Bergen.
Day 8
Bergen - Copenhagen
In the morning go on a guided sightseeing tour of Bergen (SIC). Guided tour with the sightseeing train "Bergen Expressen". The tour takes you through the central streets of Bergen, past the Fish Market, along the colourful port "Bryggen", with its wooden buildings from centuries back, and passing clusters of cosy, wooden houses so characteristic of Bergen. Drive up a section of Mount Fløyen, to enjoy a view of Bergen. Later depart by air from Bergen to Copenhagen. The rest of the afternoon is free to browse through the many fine shops throughout Copenhagen. Overnight stay in Copenhagen.
Day 9
Copenhagen
After breakfast go on a sightseeing tour of Copenhagen (SIC). On the tour we pass by the Tivoli Gardens and the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. Drive through the colourful canal district, past the National Museum and past Christiansborg Palace, home to the Danish Parliament. Continue on to The Old Stock Exchange and across Kongens Nytorv, where you can see the Royal Theatre, world famous for its Royal Ballet. The tour continues past the colourful harbour district of Nyhavn to Amalienborg Palace - winter residence of the Royal Family. Here you have the opportunity of seeing the changing of the Danish Royal Guard. This is followed by a visit to the Gefion Fountain and the Little Mermaid, inspired by Hans Christian Andersens fairy-tale. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Copenhagen.
Day 10
Copenhagen- Reykjavik
Today it is time to say goodbye to Copenhagen and fly to Reykjavik after breakfast. After arrival in Reykjavik, go and check in to your hotel. Rest of the day to familiarize yourself with this wonderful city. Overnight stay in Reykjavik.
Day 11
Reykjavik
Breakfast at the hotel and go on sightseeing (SIC). Reykjavik truly is a magical place to visit. In the afternoon you have time to visit Reykjavik City Museum and enjoy a high-tech, interactive multi-media experience which will delight all the family. Technology meets history here as the museums exhibition is centred round the excavation of a Viking longhouse dating from the 10th century. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Reykjavik.
Day 12
Reykjavik
After a nice breakfast at the hotel, go on a tour to the Blue Lagoon. Surrounded by lava fields and snow-capped mountains, the Blue Lagoon is a geothermal spa outside the city where you can bathe in the warm waters, have a water massage or enjoy a spa treatment. With your transportation all arranged, just lie back and relax, before catching your transport back to your hotel in Reykjavik. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Reykjavik.
Day 13
Reykjavik- return flight
Today it is time to say goodbye to Scandinavia and fly home.
