Day 1
Edinburgh
Scotlands capital is a stunning tour de force of the best of Scotland. With its beautiful Georgian architecture and green urban spaces, including the Botanic Gardens and Arthurs Seat, this city has been known to charm people from the moment they arrive. Arrival at Edinburgh Airport you are transferred to Edinburgh City. Check in to your hotel. Evening get ready for a dramatic tour combines the finest storytelling, the most gruesome and ghostly history and the best underground Vaults, resulting in an unforgettable experience or you can visit Camera Obscura and World of Illusions a show which is a fascinating and highly amusing way to see the city and learn about its history. Day 2
Edinburgh
Edinburgh is a cultural hotbed with many of Scotlands top museums housed here, most notably the child-friendly National Museum, which charts Scotlands history and culture over thousands of years through interactive exhibits. Not only that, the city plays host to several world-famous festivals, including the largest arts and culture festival of its kind in the world.
Children will love visiting the citys iconic castle, a centuries-old fortress that dominates the skyline, or Dynamic Earth, where theyll experience what its like to stand in the middle of a live volcano. Edinburgh also offers some excellent shopping opportunities; including luxury and high street shopping in both George and Princes St. Thus Ticket to hop on and off the tour as you please and really explore all Edinburgh has to offer. With great visitor attractions, museums, galleries and restaurants to suit every taste (and budget) Edinburghs got it all! You can also get the opportunity to mould, shape, dip and decorate chocolates at a Chocolate Workshop where workshop begins with an introduction to chocolate making and a demonstration of the skills involved. A Tasty treat to decorate, including solid chocolates, truffles and dipped fruits.
Evenings in Edinburgh are best spent sampling some of Scottish- Indian restaurants and discovering the real Scots friendliness, drinking a pint of beer or a whisky whilst enjoying a live gig in a traditional pub.
Day 3
Edinburgh
Explore the beautiful historic city of Stirling in the heart of Scotland?s bustling central belt and learn about Scotlands rich heritage.
Your journey will take you past Linlithgow, the summer Palace of the Royal Stewart Dynasty, and birthplace of the famous Mary Stuart Queen of Scots. Travelling further West youll stop for a visit at Stirling Castle (entrance not included). This is Scotlands most strategic fortress, and the Renaissance playboy pad of Scottish Kings. Local Lunch is taken on your own on the shores of bonnie Loch Lomond, Britains largest expanse of fresh water and ancient water bridge to the land of clans MacFarlane and MacGregor. Then you can work off the haggis with a short stroll in the Trossachs and Loch Lomon National Park. Finally, enjoy a visit to one of Scotlands finest Whisky distilleries, Glengoyne (not included). Here you will take a tour of a working distillery which produces gallons of the water of life. You will see the production process and have an opportunity to taste the finished product!
Day 4
Edinburgh - Glasglow
Post breakfast depart Edinburgh and arrive Glasgow which is Scotlands largest city and is renowned for its culture, style and the friendliness of its people. It offers a blend of internationally-acclaimed museums and galleries, stunning architecture, vibrant nightlife. You are recommended to visit Riverside Museum which is home to some of the worlds finest cars, bicycles, ship models, trams and locomotives. Interactive displays, suitable for everyone in the family, and the hugely popular historic Glasgow street scene bring the objects and stories to life. Overnight in Glasgow.
Day 5
Glasgow
Today post breakfast Mystery, myth, legend and history, set amongst some of the most breathtaking scenery of the Scottish Highlands unfolds. From Glasgow we travel north, tracing the length of Loch Lomond, over Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount, to awesome, tragic Glencoe, the setting for myth, misdeed and magnificence. We enter the Great Glen beneath Britains highest mountain, Ben Nevis, hugging canal, river and loch-side. We will pass Fort Augustus, tracing the 24 mile shoreline of Loch Ness, stopping at Urquhart Castle. Here, you may wish to visit the castle (entrance fee is not included) - a spot made famous by many an alleged sighting of the Loch Ness Monster. At Inverness we turn for home, traversing the Grampians and the Forest of Atholl, with a choice of refreshment stops en route.
Day 6
Glasgow
Day at leisure. A diverse array of restaurants and bars and fantastic shopping that makes Glasgow the best UK shopping experience out of London. Glasgows famous Style Mile is a square mile in the very centre of the city housing the most extraordinary concentration of 200 stores , from unique designer stores to flagship stores for British and international retailers, top restaurants and decadent bars. In Buchanan Street they will find a wide range of shops as well as some interesting shopping centres such as the Buchanan Galleries and Princes Square. The Italian Centre in The Merchant City has a number of designer boutiques. Lovers of silver will find much to interest them in The Argyll Arcade- a covered street that houses the largest collection of jewellers in Scotland. In the evening you must visit Loch Fyne- Seafood Restaurant. Its meandering route, through some of the most spectacular coastal scenery Scotland has to offer, enables seafoodies to sample, share and enjoy seafood and shellfish from a wide variety of waterfront establishments.
Day 7
Depart Glasgow
Today you bid farewell to Scotland and be transferred to the Airport for your return flight home to India.
