Day 1

Arrive Glasglow
Welcome to Glasgow. Glasgow is Scotlands largest city and is renowned for its culture, style and the friendliness of its people. It offers a blend of internationally-acclaimed museums and galleries, stunning architecture, vibrant nightlife, a diverse array of restaurants and bars and fantastic shopping, that makes Glasgow the best UK shopping experience out of London.

Glasgow is easily Scotlands most ethnically diverse city, and has a large, welcoming Indian Community. This is reflected in the variety of Indian cuisine that can be found in the city. Enjoying a good curry is a part of Glasgows life, and when it comes to Indian Food, Scots believe that Glasgow produces the best curries in the world out of India. That explains why Glasgow has been awarded with the Curry Capital title more than any other city in Britain.

Day 3

Glasgow
Day free for shopping. Glasgows famous Style Mile  is a square mile in the very centre of the city housing the most extraordinary concentration of 200 stores , from unique designer stores to flagship stores for British and international retailers, top restaurants and decadent bars.

Visit Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum which is one of Scotlands most popular free attractions and features 22 themed, state-of-the-art galleries displaying an astonishing 8000 objects.

A recommendation would be a visit to Wellpark Brewery in Glasgow which is home to more than 450 years of brewing tradition and award winning beers. The new tour takes visitors behind the scenes to discover how Tennents is made so special. The tour takes you through the process from refining the ingredients to mashing, malting, brewing, kegging and of course a complimentary pint at the end or those not keen in Beers can visit the Willow Tea Rooms which is one of Glasgows major visitor attractions. Centrally located on Glasgows Style Mile, it offers a mouth-watering range of traditional food and drinks. The team is delighted to share their recipes with guests, including the famous Willow Meringues.

Day 4

Glasgow - Portree
Departing Glasgow, make your first stop at the picturesque conservation village of Luss, on the Bonny, Bonny Banks of Loch Lomond. Travelling north via Tyndrum pass over the desolate Rannoch Moor before enjoying time to walk and admire the dramatic Glencoe valley, site of the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald Clan. After lunch in the Fort William area, (weather permitting) stop for photos at Scotlands highest mountain, Ben Nevis, then we can admire Glen Garry and the stunning Five Sisters of Kintail mountain range. The journey takes you to the charming village of Portree, on the Island of Skye, where you check into your accommodation.

Day 5

Portree
After breakfast depart for a full days touring , options can include a visit to Talisker distillery and Dunvegan Castle, or a trip to Uig and a stop to visit Flora MacDonalds grave and the unique Black Houses. Continue your journey where you can view Duntulum Castle, take photos of Kilt Rock. Tour ends with the opportunity to admire the Old Man of Storr, before returning to Portree.

Day 6

Portree - Edinburgh
Commence the descent via the much-admired Eilean Donan Castle, backdrop for the movie, Highlander; (interior closed in winter) then move on to the pretty lochside village of Fort Augustus for lunch and views of Loch Ness. Continue over Laggan and the Grampian mountains with last stop in the Victorian resort town of Pitlochry, before returning to Edinburgh. Ariive Edinburgh and make your way to the hotel. Overnight in Edinburgh

Day 7

Edinburgh
A day out with lots of free time in the Medieval city of St Andrews, home of golf and the picturesque old fishing villages in the East corner of the Kingdom of Fife.

The Medieval centre of St Andrews consists of a series of narrow alleys and cobbled streets with shops, restaurants and cafés. Explore the castle, the now ruined cathedral and the adjacent church of St Regulus, where you can climb the spiral staircase to the top of the 108 ft tower for magnificent views of the town and its surroundings. St Andrews has two great beaches, one being the magnificent West Sands, where the famous opening sequence of Chariots of Fire was shot. Other attractions include the Botanic Gardens, British Golf Museum, St Andrews Aquarium and the Byre Theatre, one of only four 5-Star arts venues in Scotland. You can visit St Andrews Farmhouse Cheese Co and can watch the cheese-making in progress from the specially constructed Viewing Gallery and continue to enjoy fish & chips at The Anstruther Fish Bar which is ideally situated overlooking the picturesque harbour in the fishing village of Anstruther. Back to Edinburgh. Overnight in Edinburgh.

Day 8

Edinburgh
Today you discover the history and mystery of Scotlands most famous export. The entire Scotch Whisky experience, including barrel ride. Visit to Edinburgh Castle is highly recommended as it dominates the Edinburgh skyline from the top of an extinct volcano. Over the centuries the castle has been involved in many historical conflicts and intrigues. Today, Edinburgh Castle is home to the Scottish Crown Jewels and the Stone of Destiny, which was used in the ceremony for crowning Scottish monarchs, and the National War Museum of Scotland. Included in the Explorer Pass, Historic Scotland Evening you take walking tour of Edinburghs Old Town, helping you to discover this great citys macabre past. You will be met at the meeting point by your guide, Adam Lyal (deceased) - a highwayman who was executed in Edinburghs Grassmarket on 27th March 1811. Although the subject matter is dark, Mr Lyals approach is fairly light-hearted, and there will be a few laughs, as well as a few scares, while you hear about Edinburghs sinister past.

Day 9

Depart Edinburgh
Today you bid farewell to Scotland and be transferred to the Airport for your return flight home to India.
