Day 1

Arrive Edinburgh
Highlights: Edinburgh sightseeing - Royal Yatch Britannia. Upon arrival at Edinburgh Airport in the morning, you will be met by your LOCAL representative who will ensure swift passage from the airport to your centrally located hotel in Edinburgh, a short walk from Princes Street. After check in, the representative will then discuss the itinerary with you, ensuring that any last minutes questions can be answered. After checking in, we waste no time, and jump on to the City Bus Tour to get a feel for the town known as Auld Reekie! Tickets are valid for 24 hours, and we include a further ticket to see the floating Palace that was home-on-the-ocean to the Royal Family for over 40 years the Royal Yacht Britannia. Also included are tickets to the fantastic Edinburgh Botanic Gardens well worth a visit. The Bollywood legend, late Dev Anand, once described the capital of Scotland as the prettiest city in the world and he wasnt wrong! With cobbled streets, ancient architecture, bustling nightlife and the famous Castle overlooking the city, this is the perfect place to begin your Scotland tour! In the evening, take a stroll on the Royal Mile, Edinburghs oldest street, which connects Edinburgh Castle with the Palace of Holyrood House. This road has also gained fame with the filming of Mausam starring Shahid Kapoor. Overnight stay in Edinburgh.
 
Day 2

Glasgow day tour - Edinburgh Castle
Today, pick up your car from the car hire location and travel to Glasgow which is 1 hour away, the largest city in Scotland and the location set for the recent blockbuster Kick! Often considered to be the business capital as opposed to the tourism capital, Edinburgh, it is a fascinating place. Wandering around the town you will see some of the finest architecture in Europe, including that of Charles Rennie Macintosh whose work went on to be recognized around the world. The Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Museum of Transport and the Lismore Bar famous for its single malts! are just a few of the many highlights (panoramic tour) Head back to Edinburgh in the afternoon and visit Edinburgh Castle, one of Scotlands most iconic visitor attractions dominating the citys skyline atop Castle Rock, and the most favored residence of Scotlands kings and queens. Overnight stay in Edinburgh.

Day 3

Tantallon Castle - Glenkinchie Distillery
This morning, drive to the coast to visit Tantallon Castle, North Berwick, location set of the title track of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. This spectacular castle is set high on the cliffs, and overlooks the North Sea - next stop: Norway! After this castle, drive to Glenkinchie Distillery to see at first hand the famous production of single malt whisky in one of Scotlands oldest distilleries. We then return to Edinburgh to our centrally located hotel.
 
Day 4

St Andrews
Today we head north, leaving Edinburgh behind, cross the Forth Road Bridge (pictured) and into Dunfermline. There we visit the great abbey, founded in the 11th century, and the resting place of many Scottish kings and queens. Dunfermline was, in ancient times, the capital of Scotland. After that, take the coast road to the famous old town of St Andrews, passing through the delightful fishing villages of Elie, Anstruther and Crail. Once you reach St Andrews, check in to your beautiful guest house, located close to the centre of the town and perfectly within walking distance of the wonderful little shops that make up this place. We also suggest a visit to the West Sands, one of Scotlands best beaches remember your jacket! En route youll likely walk across the famous Old Course, stop to have a look at the fantastic Royal & Ancient Clubhouse Overnight in St Andrews.
 
Day 5

Balmoral Castle- drive to Inverness
This morning, we continue to explore St Andrews, taking in the Botanic Gardens before heading down towards the beach to the Himalayas. No trip to St Andrews is complete without at least a little bit of golf, so work your way around this putting green you will soon find out where the name comes from! You could stay in St Andrews for weeks, but there is so much more to see, so we jump into the car and head north through Perthshire and into the Cairngorm National Park. Here we visit Balmoral Castle, summer residence for HM The Queen and many members of the Royal Family. Set in the beautiful highlands this is a spectacular place to visit. We then continue just a little further north to Inverness and check in to your Inverness hotel for 2 nights in time for dinner. Overnight stay in Inverness.
 
Day 6

Loch Ness Cruise - Inverness town centre
Today, we enjoy a cruise on the Loch Ness with views of Urquart Castle (filmed in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai) and some special local scenery dont forget to watch out for the monster! We then continue to Inverness town centre where you can spend the rest of the day Then its back to your hotel to relax before dinner.
 
Day 7

Isle of Skye day trip - Eilean Donan Castle
Today we take a full day tour around the famous Isle of Skye. This trip will pass Invermoristion, Glen Moriston, Glen Shiel (the scene of a famous battle in 1719!), Eilean Donan Castle (where you will stop as entry is included for you) and then past Loch Slappin before stopping to enjoy exploring the wonderful beach. Then its back towards Inverness by way of the Kessock bridge enjoying wonderful views over the Moray Firth before reaching your hotel. Overnight stay in Inverness.
 
Day 8

Back to Edinburgh- drive through Fort William and Glencoe
Today its breakfast then into the car for a leisurely journey south towards Edinburgh. You will drive alongside the length of Loch Ness, into Fort William and through Glencoe one of the most spectacular regions of Scotland. There are plenty of places along the way to stop and enjoy the view just make sure the camera is fully charged before you set out! This is the journey made famous by James Bond is Skyfall and again the title track of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai! Arrive in Edinburgh in the afternoon where you can do some last minute shopping Overnight stay in Edinburgh (1 night)

Day 9

Depart Edinburgh
Its time to bid farewell to Scotland as you board your flight back to India.
