Day 1
Zurich Airport / Engelberg (2.06hrs)
Your holiday begins as you arrive into Switzerland this morning. Upon arrival at the airport you will need to make your way to the train and board the train taking you to Lucerne. This is a 45 minute journey and takes you into the heart of the country. Upon arrival please proceed to your Hotel & check in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax & explore this city on your own. Overnight in Engelberg.
Day 2
Engelberg - Mt.Titlis and back
Mt Titlis experience awaits you. The journey up to Mt.Titlis takes about 40 minutes. At Engelberg (1000 m) you board a 6-person gondola and journey upto the Trubsee half-way station (1800 m). Then continue to the Stand glacier station by Rotair cable car wherein the floor of the cable-car rotates once around its own axis. Enjoy the breathtaking panorama from atop Mt.Titlis (3020 m). Overnight in Engelberg.
Day 3
Engelberg - Zurich - Rhine Falls and back
We recommend a visit to the "metropolis of experiences" by the water. With a magnificent view of the snowcapped Alps on the horizon, Zürich Downtown Switzerland offers a unique mixture of attractions - over 50 museums and more than 100 art galleries, international fashion labels and Zürich designs, and the most flamboyant and lively nightlife in Switzerland. Day 4
Engelberg - Interlaken - Jungfraujoch and back
Take a train to Interlaken Ost and at Interlaken Ost station submit your Jungfraujoch voucher. UNESCO WORLD NATURAL HERITAGE OF THE SWISS ALPS - An excursion into the glacier world of Switzerlands high alps is an unforgettable experience. Jungfraujoch is the highest railway station in Europe at 11333 ft. Visit the Ice Palace to see the beautiful display of ice- sculptures. View the Jungfrau peak and the awe inspiring. Day 5
Engelberg - Mt Rigi and back
Today, you could set off on an excursion to Mt Rigi (approx. 90 minutes by train from Lucerne to the top). Follow the traces of Mark Twain and Queen Victoria, the first famous visitors of Mt. Rigi, the sun terrace above Lake Lucerne with views over the snow-capped Alps and 13 lakes. You have various options to get there by steamboat from Lucerne to Vitznau and then the cogwheel train up to "Rigi-Kulm"; a ride back to "Rigi-Kaltbad" and then with the gondola to Weggis and back to Lucerne by boat - or descending down to Goldau by cable car and then back to Lucerne by train.
Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne - one of the most diverse museums in Europe for transport and communication, and the most-frequented museum in Switzerland. Has its own IMAX cinema on site. Lake Lucerne - the scenic beauty of the lake can be discovered on the many different cruises offered by paddlewheel steamers and motor vessels. Overnight in Engelberg.
Day 6
Engelberg - Interlaken - Schilthorn and back
This morning, we suggest you proceed to Schilthron in Interlaken. At 9774 ft, the Schilthorn peak offers one of the most exclusive views of the alpine world. On your way to the peak, you pass the unique villages of Gimmelwald, Murren and Brig. Overnight in Engelberg.
Day 7
Engelberg - Lucerne and back
Lucerne, the gateway to central Switzerland, is located 43 mins away by Lake Lucerne and has an impressive mountainous panorama. Thanks to its attractions, its souvenir and watch shops, the beautiful lakeside setting and the nearby mountains of Pilatus and Stanserhorn, the town receives many travel groups and individuals on their journey through central Switzerland. Overnight in Engelberg.
